Although Lough Corrib offers excellent fishing opportunities, there are a whole host of other activites to enjoy whilst visiting Ireland.
Lough Corrib is reputed to have 365 islands. Most famous of which is Inchagoill Island. Located midway between Cong and Oughterard, it is one of the largest of the many wooded islands along Lough Corrib.
There are beautiful walking trails around Cong, Clonbur and Cornamona. These trails will take the walker along woodlands, lakeshores and hillsides.
